Site work and new construction of a detention facility in Xenia, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
As of February 24 2025 this is in construction. The new Jail will come from state funding. The county is receiving $15 million to build a new, state-of-the-art jail. The deadline for questions has been revised to 5pm EST Friday March 4, 2022 The Board of County Commissioners, Greene County, Ohio (the Owner) intends to contract for Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) services in connection with its New Jail Project All questions concerning this RFQ shall be directed in writing via email to Lisa Hale, Assistant County Administrator at lisa.hale@greenecountyohio.gov by 5 p.m. 10 calendar days prior to the submittal deadline. Questions will be reviewed and the Owner will determine whether any addenda should be issued as a result of any pertinent or substantive inquiries. Addenda will be issued to all firms that have requested the RFQ for the Project. Deadline for Submitting Pricing and Technical Proposals Week of April 18, 2022 The Owner reserves the right to waive any defect or technicality in any SOQ received or to eliminate any CMR that submits an incomplete or inadequate SOQ or that is not responsive to the requirements of this RFQ.
