The City of Aurora, IL ("City") is requesting proposals from qualified firms ("Developers") for the acquisition, renovation and reuse of the property owned at this time by the City of Aurora located at 514 Claim Street, Aurora, IL 60505 (PIN # 15-22-427-015) ("Property"). The City is requiring the location to remain an owner-occupied residential home upon completion of this project. Inquiries and/or questions pertaining to the provisions and specifications of this request for qualifications package shall be directed to the Director of Purchasing, in writing at PurchasingDL@aurora.il.us. Questions will be accepted until 8:00 am, CST, Monday, March 7, 2022. Questions will be answered via addendum by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, March 8, 2022. NO questions will be accepted or answered verbally. No questions will be accepted or answered after the Monday, March 7, 2022 8:00 am cut-off date/time. The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicality, informality or irregularity in the proposals received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional proposals or counter-proposals and to hold the proposal for ninety (90) days from the opening date set forth above. The City further reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the proposal to the most responsible Developer whose offer best responds in quality, fitness and capacity to the requirements of the proposed Work or usage and therefore is in the best interest of the City. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
