Contractor to provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary for the removal of the old Piping and replacement of new piping in the the DOT Boiler and Chiller plants as per the scope of work. All work to be done during normal business hours 6:30am-4:00pm Mon- Fri. After hours are available with prior approval. Shut done all mechanical equipment prior to starting and use lock-out tagout procedure. Isolate, drain, remove, and dispose Provide and install new parts to match existing capacity with like equipment or equal. Approximate 10ft of 3in schedule 40 steel piping in the boiler plant. Approximate 8ft of 8in schedule 80 PVC piping in the chiller plant. Hangers and Supports for Plumbing, piping. Hoisting for mechanical (piping) materials and equipment. Arrange inspection for Mechanical work. Scaffolding as required for mechanical (piping) work. Verify above listed work is per local plumbing code. Mechanical Permits and inspection fees when and where required. Start and test operation when work is complete. Any additional items or parts found defective require the approval from the Facilities Coordinator prior to completing. DOT Estimated Start Date: March 21, 2022 and Final completion on or before April 21, 2022. Parts and Labor Warranty is required This is project is exempt from state sales tax.
