Site work for a civil project in Akron, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Department of Sanitary Sewer Services is soliciting bids for Q-615 Pump Station No. 81 Force Main Replacement Project, located in the City of Tallmadge, Ohio. The Work, in general, consists of all efforts required for the general items of work: Install 1469 LF of 8-inch PVC C-900 sanitary sewer force main and related fittings in City of Tallmadge Right-of-Way and an easement across private property as shown in the plan set. Install 113 LF of 8-inch PVC C-900 sanitary sewer force main directionally drilled with related fittings in City of Tallmadge Right-of-Way and an easement across private property as shown in the plan set. Abandon 1610 LF of 8-inch Ductile Iron sanitary sewer force main and related fittings. Erosion control and site restoration Contract award will be based upon determination of the lowest and most responsive and responsible bid for the specific project option selected for construction by the County. Substantial Completion 105 Calendar Days after Notice to Proceed. Total Completion 125 Calendar Days after Notice to Proceed. This project will not be an assessed project. It will be financed through OWDA and County of Summit Sewer District revenues. Bidders are responsible for EEO compliance as provided in Executive Order 11246 and implementing regulations Title 41 Chapter 60-1.4, 60-4.2, 60-4.3 (Equal Opportunity Clause and Notice of Standard Specifications), 60-250 and 60-741. The County of Summit reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to hold all bids for sixty (60) days before final action thereon. Each bidder is encouraged to utilize minority and women subcontractors and/or suppliers whenever possible. The question deadline is Wednesday, March 16, 2021 2:00 p.m. EST You must upload a copy of your bid bond or cashier's check in the Bid Bond Response Information Form below and accept all required documents before you can enter pricing. These original documents must be received from the apparent low bidder no later than three (3) business days after the due date addressed to Shannon McNulty, 175 S.
