Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Valdez, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Provide CM/GC services for the reconstruction and new utility tie-ins for the East Hanagita Roadway and Utilities Improvement project in accordance with the construction documents. The scope of work includes excavation, backfill, paving of roadway, curb, gutter, and side walk replacement. Upgrades to the storm drainage system. Installation of new hydrants, signs/traffic markings, and replacement of street lights with new. Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law. Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met. Questions will be accepted until 4:00pm Tuesday, March 8, 2022, and can be submitted to Brad Sontag, Project Manager, via email at: Brad Sontag.The City of Valdez encourages disadvantaged, minority and women-owned firms to respond and is available to assist said firms in learning how to do business with the City. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
