Requirements: 1. The Contractor shall furnish Preventive Maintenance Service for HVAC equipment (including all necessary parts, labor, supervision, materials, and equipment) and "on-call" repair services on all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, water heaters, water coolers, drinking fountains, and exhaust fans. Preventive maintenance shall include all adjustments and servicing required to maintain systems and equipment in good operating condition, in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and Attachment B, titled "General Equipment Preventive Maintenance Guidelines". 2. Bidders shall have previous experience providing maintenance, installation and repairs of hvac equipment. 3. Bidders shall complete and return pages 1, 5, 13, 16 and 17 by the response due date. 4. Period of Contract: From 4/9/2022 to 4/8/2024 (two years) with three, one-year renewal options. All inquiries should be directed to: Randy Hart randy.hart@dmv.virginia.gov By signing and submitting a bid or proposal under this solicitation, the bidder or offeror certifies that if awarded the contract, it will have the following insurance coverage at the time the contract is awarded. For construction contracts, if any subcontractors are involved, the subcontractor will have workers' compensation insurance in accordance with 2.2-4332 and 65.2-800 et seq. of the Code of Virginia. The bidder or offeror further certifies that the contractor and any subcontractors will maintain these insurance coverage during the entire term of the contract and that all insurance coverage will be provided by insurance companies authorized to sell insurance in Virginia by the Virginia State Corporation Commission. Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for 30 days. At the end of the days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled.
