The Saint Louis Zoo is accepting proposals for the demolition of existing condensing unit and exposed refrigerant lines and the installation of a new RTU package unit at Hippo Hideaway snack shack located in the River Edge. The existing air handling unit and ductwork will remain in place. The scope of work to include: -Contractor should provide all labor and material to install one (1) 5-ton two stage packaged rooftop unit with electric heat. This is to be ground mounted. - The existing data shelf and equipment will be lowered about 12 to provide a clear path for supply ductwork. - Supply ductwork to enter building just below simulated wood beams, and immediately offset to provide maximum head space in work area. Ductwork to run tight to wall separating serving area from work space. Ductwork to be on workplace side of wall, and should run approximately 14 stopping short of junction box feeding electric water heater. -Install (2) diffusers in sidewall of ductwork to deliver air to work room. -Extend ductwork through existing cased opening to front service area, and create a funnel shaped fitting with three (3) grilles to deliver air to entire counter area. - All supply grilles to be brushed aluminum double deflection grilles. -Install two (2) return air grilles in wall, one (1) in front service area, and one (1) in rear work area. - Return grilles to be brushed aluminum with fixed blades. -All supply ductwork to include 1 internal insulation. - All external duc
