The Board of Preble County Commissioners are looking for a general contractor to submit bids for the proposed Expo Building Phase II project. The Exposition Building is located at the Preble County Fairgrounds, located at 722 S. Franklins St., Eaton, OH 45320. The Project Manual and drawings for this project will give all needed specifications and scope ofwork information needed to bid on this project. If the bid is sent by mail or delivery service, ensure that the outside of the envelope is marked clearly that a sealed bid is enclosed. Also, include in the sealed envelope one original and one copy of the bid. The Preble County Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any irregularities in bidding; and to enter into a contract(s) with the bidder or bidders who in their consideration offered the lowest and best bid. Once the bid is awarded, the successful bidder agrees to furnish a performance bond for the total amount of the Resurfacing project. Retainage of 8% will be withheld for the first 50% of the labor completed for the project. Retainage will be released upon approval and completion of project. Any retainage withheld shall be done so pursuant to agreement. If bid is accepted, Contractor will be required to add Preble County Commission to its insurance policy as an additional insured. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
