Aggregate Surface Course, Type B F.O.B. Pit or Quarry The Aggregate Surface Course, Type B, shall be in Accordance with Section 402 of the Standard Specifications. The gradation of the material shall conform to the requirement of CA-6 or CA-10 as specified in Article 1004.04 of the Standard Specifications. Sub-base Granular Material, Type B F.O.B. Pit or Quarry The Sub-base Granular Material, Type B, shall be in Accordance with Section 311 of the Standard Specifications. The gradation of the material shall conform to the requirement of CA-2 as specified in Article 1004.04 of the Standard Specifications. Measurement of Materials: All Aggregate Surface Course, Type B material and Sub-base Granular Material, Type B shall be weighed at the pit or quarry on truck scales, approved by the Engineer, that are long enough to weigh all axles at the same time. Any costs incurred due to furnishing approved scales and weighing the Aggregate Surface Course, Type B, and Sub-base Granular Material, Type B will not be paid for separately but shall be considered in the unit price bid per ton for Aggregate Surface Course, Type B or Sub-base Granular Material Type B. Proposal Guaranty: A proposal guaranty (aka a bid check) will not be required. Line 6 under the section Material Proposal or Deliver & Install Proposal (on sheet 3 of 3) is retracted All accepted bid prices shall apply to all aggregate purchases included in this proposal through the end of the calendar year The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Material/Deliver and Install Proposals.The road district reserves the right to buy only the amounts of material needed: whether over or under the amounts shown in this proposal. All qualified Freight on Board (F.O.B.) bidder s bids will be accepted.
