The Laramie County Events Department operates several recreational event facilities, including the Event Center at Archer, Exhibit Hall, and Community Center. The department is also responsible for the coordination and execution of multiple county events, such as the Laramie County Fair, Laramie County Sportsmans Expo, and Laramie County Farm & Ranch Show. The Butterfly Garden is an outdoor event space located north, northeast of the Event Center at Archer. This space features a wooden gazebo and is an area occasionally used for wedding ceremonies and similar events. Adjacent to this space is a standalone building that houses a concession stand and restrooms. East of the concession center is our Community Center building, which is often used for small nonprofit club meetings and small parties. West of the gazebo is a small building used by the Laramie County Maintenance Department.
