The City of Deerfield Beach is soliciting sealed responses from vendors for Island Mobility Improvements Project in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of work and plans of this competitive solicitation. Question Cutoff Date 3/11/2022 05:00:00 PM (ET) The work to be completed shall be substantially completed within two hundred thirteen (213) calendar days and shall be finally completed within Two Hundred Forty-Three (243) calendar days of the Citys issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The City is a South Florida coastal community of 80,000 residents located in northern Broward County. The City is midway between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach and is neighbored by Boca Raton, Coral Springs and Pompano Beach. This 16.3 square mile community and is home to a diverse residential, commercial and industrial population. The Island Mobility Improvements Project includes the removal of a bus stop on NE 20th Terrace, construction of a new bus stop shelter along East Hillsboro Boulevard and various roadway improvements. It shall be the Bidders responsibility to visit the site of the project prior to the non-mandatory bid conference. This site visit will help the Bidders prepare for the non-mandatory bid conference. The location of the project site is shown in Exhibit I - Plan Bid Set. Bidders shall be responsible for understanding the current site conditions and work which has been completed or currently is in progress on the site.
