PUBLIC NOTICE -INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids for Chagrin River Access 2022 will be received by the P.A.E.O. at Eastlake City Hall, 35150 Lakeshore Blvd, Eastlake, Ohio 44095 until 12:00 noon on April 08, 2022 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Area of dredging is within the following limits: A.) Approximately 6 600 lineal feet of the Chagrin River from the rivers mouth at Lake Erie to 1/4 mile past the Lakeshore Blvd Bridge. B.) Approximately 3100 lineal feet in the East Channel and C.) Approximately 3200 lineal feet in the West Channel. Also included is setting up to twenty buoys as furnished by the P.A.E.O. If necessary, the dredging coordinator may make changes in bottom elevation or location of channel prior to the start or during execution of the project. The Board intends to award a contract to the lowest and best bidder whose bid is submitted in accordance with the requirements of the bidding documents and does not exceed the funds available for the project. The P.A.E.O. reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical deficiencies or irregularities in the bids, request additional information or experience/equipment, and to accept any bid which it deems more favorable.
