Renovation of a military facility in Indian Head, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
NAVFAC ACQR No.: 5911717 The main objective is to remove the existing HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, controls and provide a new HVAC system. Coordinate the start of construction activities with the Government explosive decontamination process in the building. Upgrades shall include the following: - An integrated dehumifier system with air-cooled refrigeration and steam heat. - Replacement of all associated ductwork. - A humidification system including a weather-proof electric steam generator, duct mounted dispersion tubes and humidification steam piping system. - Provide new exhaust fans. - Provide steam pressure reducing station, condensate return pump and distribution piping. - A BACnet control system for all equipment and systems provided under this contract. - All general construction, electrical and fire alarm work necessary for a complete project. - Provide new building electric service. - Provide delegated design for all civil work including Maryland Dept. of the Environment erosion and sediment control permit. the estimated price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000
