Description of the work: The work includes replacing drain pump 5. The proposed project will provide the related work as shown on the drawings. The new requirement shall meet construction and performance specifications. Time for completion: In accordance with FAR 52.211-10 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work (APR 1984), work shall be completed within 330 calendar days after award. Estimated Price Range: In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Wage Determination: General Decision Number VA20220055 01/07/2022. Proposal Acceptance Period: Proposal acceptance period shall be 120 days from receipt of offers. Pre-Proposal Inquiries (PPIs): PPIs must be submitted via the PPI Form Attachment. The cutoff for PPIs is Wednesday 02 March 2022 by 2:00 p.m. local time in order to process all inquiries by the proposal due date. Site Visit: The site visit will be held on Wednesday, 16 February 2022 at 10:00am EST. There will only be one Government sponsored site visit. See security information below. Cameras are not permitted at the site visit. Security Information: Government personnel will escort contractors to the site visit (please meet at building Pass & ID). Site Visit attendance will only be accepted from the prime contractors listed on the Small Business MACC. Subcontractor submissions must go through the prime contractor. Security Information: Please provide a list of all personnel who are not in possession of a valid DBIDS badge and an active NAVSEA badge for Norfolk Naval Shipyard to Doyon no later than Monday, 14 February 2022 at 1:00 pm EST. Personnel without the required badges will need to be escorted. Submissions not received by this date and time will not be processed, as it will not allow sufficient time for approval. Contractors visiting the job site are responsible for adhering to safety regulations of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, which include the wearing of hard hats, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
