Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Des Plaines, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of the construction of below grade precast concrete structures, pumps, piping, valves, electrical/SCADA improvements, new underground vaults and all other related appurtenances and accessories necessary to complete the work. Work of the proposed SCADA improvements includes but is not limited to providing acceptable materials and methods for furnishing and installing the SCADA system and communication upgrades including the following: o SCADA Panel at the Lake Opeka Storm Water Pump Station o SCADA Software Program license purchase and programming modifications as required to add new SCADA panel into existing City SCADA system o New Antenna The City's "System Integrator" shall assume "Unit Responsibility" for the complete SCADA/Communications package. The System Integrator shall be responsible to provide all controls and appurtenances required for a fully functional system including but not limited to modem antenna and software. In order to ensure compatibility and overall system function it is the intent of these Specifications that all of the components, specified herein, shall be supplied by a single System Integrator vendor and the equipment, software, programming and communications shall be compatible with City's existing SCADA system.
