All bidders must submit bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, which shall be made payable to Upper Merion Township. In addition, the successful bidder shall be required to furnish the Township with a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract value within 20 days of contract award. Upper Merion Township reserves the right to accept any bid, reject all bids, waive any defect or informality in bidding procedures in part or in full, and to award the contract in the best interest of the Township. The contract will be awarded to a responsible bidder; however Upper Merion Township reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law.
