Renovation of a municipal facility in Trenton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Questions to be submitted in writing to james@bcminc-gc.com by 7 MARCH 2022 Trade contractor will contract directly with the Dade County Board of Commissioners. There will be NO General Contractor on the project. Dade County Board of Commissioners will provide dumpsters and toilet facilities Trade contractor will be responsible for familiarizing themselves with site conditions, all drawings, and specifications associated with the Interior Renovation For; Historical Courthouse. Trade contractor will be responsible for complying with all Dade County, Georgia County Commissioners requirements for working on Dade County, GA property. No smoking, alcohol or drugs will be permitted onsite. Trade contractor will be required to provide a five percent (5%) bid bond for any proposal over $50,000.00 and will be required to provide a payment and performance bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.Trade contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, taxes, supervision, equipment, insurance, safety requirements, and incidentals necessary to provide a complete scope of work as directed by Dade County Board of Commissioners and in compliance with local, national, and industry building codes. The following items are listed for clarification only. They are not intended to limit the scope of work nor do they diminish this trade contractor s obligations to provide a complete scope of work. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: a. Trade contractor will be required to provide all permits and license required to work in the City of Trenton, Dade County, and the State of Georgia b. Trade contractor will be responsible for all necessary demo to complete their work c. Trade contractor is to provide any and all hoisting, access equipment, ladders, etc. to complete this scope of work. d. Trade contractor will be responsible for all support systems and backing required for a complete scope of work, including support of water heater. e. Trade contractor is responsible for rough-in of all low voltage outlined in the contract documents f. Trade contractor is to coordinate with other trades as necessary to ensure complete systems and project with regards to the assigned scope noted above. g. Trade contractor will be responsible for daily cleanup and removal of all trash, debris, and excess materials to dumpsters. h. Trade contractor will provide all warranties including but not limited to a 1-year warranty on all work. i. Trade contractor will provide as-built drawings. j. Trade contractor will provide operational and maintenance manuals for all equipment and fixtures supplied. k. Some areas of installation may be in semi-finished and finished conditions. Therefore, trade contractor shall take preventive measures necessary to protect all finish surfaces and conditions where this scope occurs. Any damage to finished conditions shall be the responsibility of this trade contractor to repair or replace. l. Trade contractor will be required to provide submittals for all materials, equipment and fixtures to be used on the project. m. Trade contractor is to price natural gas piping for the HVAC equipment as ADD Alternate#1. n. Trade contractor is to x-ray any concrete slabs prior to cutting. o. Trade contractor to provide new backflow preventor BFP-1. p. Trade contractor to provide all testing and certifications required by this scope of work. q. Trade contractor to clean all new piping and flush all piping per the contract documents. r. Trade contractor to fire safe any and all penetrations through rated assemblies. s. Trade contractor to provide and install condensate lines and french drain shown on mechanical drawings (9.1 9.4). t. Trade contractor to provide any penetrations through existing walls, floors or roof. u. Trade contractor to provide and install any boots, flashing or seals required to make wall/roof watertight. Any roof work to be done per roof manufacturer s instructions.
