From track surfacing companies to supply and install new polyurethane track surface materials at the existing track areas at George Washington High School, located at 600 32nd Avenue, San Francisco, California. Access for the track is thru a vehicular chain link gate along 30th Avenue, on the east end of the track. Included in this contract will be the minor cut-out removal and proper disposal of the existing track surfacing where necessary (estimated to be less than 250 square feet), the cleaning of the existing asphalt or concrete base substrate and existing track surfaces to remain, re-adhesion of existing track surfaces where necessary along the inside and outside track edges to the track trench drain and /or edgeband / asphalt, and the complete installation of the new track product (including NFHS compliant track striping and artwork as noted). Refer to drawing attachment and specifications for entire scope of work. There also is an additive bid items for the installation of a new concrete curb, including any existing soil removal, cutback of slope as required, including any taxes, delivery costs, materials and installation. Track surfacing contractor will be required to provide references for a minimum of twenty (20) similar, successfully executed projects in California, including current appropriate Owner contact name and phone number. Successful contractor will provide proof of insurance as well as performance and payment bonds. On-site construction (including mobilization and site preparation efforts) can begin on June 2, 2022 and project improvements shall be fully completed by July 15, 2022, including corrective punch work. The District may assess liquidated damages of $500.00 (five hundred dollars) per calendar day for late completion of any of the project work, including corrective work. The District reserves the right to cancel or revise in part or in its entirety this RFP. If the District cancels or revise this RFP, all respondents will be notified by addenda. The District also reserves the right to extend the date responses are due and/or to alter any of the key dates set forth above.
