Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Working plans call for the addition of a transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) is soliciting a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) firm to provide design and construction services for the Vertical Circulation Improvement Project at Bradley International Airport (BDL). The Vertical Circulation Improvement Project encompasses two large scale building additions at the east and west ends of BDL Terminal A. The completed project will include approximately 20,200 square feet (sf) of horizontal addition and 4,500 sf of interior renovation that will span the Arrivals Level, Departures Level, and Mezzanine Level on the northwest side of Main Terminal A. Each addition will contain two new elevators and escalators in order to increase vertical circulation amenities at the terminal. All respondents, including any and all persons acting on their behalf, are strictly prohibited from contacting any employee of the CAA, Board official or Consultant, on or regarding any matter relating to this RFQ from the time the RFQ is issued until award other than the CAA Purchasing Agent via e-mail only at procurement@ctairports.org. The CAA reserves the right to disqualify any Proposer who contacts any employee of the CAA or Board official, other than the Purchasing Agent, concerning this RFQ. Questions concerning this RFQ are due no later than 1:00 p.m. (EST), March 23, 2022 By submitting a proposal, the firm certifies that it has fully read and understands the RFP, has full knowledge of the scope of work to be provided, and accepts the terms and conditions under which the services are to be performed.
