**As of May 16, 2022, project was awarded to BEK Consulting, LLC, awarded amount is $3,076,013.61** The Project consists generally of the following scope of the Work. The scope of WORK generally consists of installing five segments totaling approximately 3,502 lineal feet of Owner purchased 30-inch Class 250 ductile iron pipe (DIP) with a bonded coating system, furnishing and installing four (4) concrete manholes with appurtenant items, eight (8) tie-ins to existing 30 DIP with restrained fittings and concrete thrust blocks, installation of restraining harnesses on the existing pipeline near the tie in locations, and other related appurtenances as required by the Project Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents. Some valves, fittings, pipe joint restraints, and other miscellaneous piping items for the project are also Owner purchased. The five segments are located near Taylor, ND along 36th ST SW (Old Hwy 10) ranging from 2 miles east to 2 miles west of Taylor. Owner purchased pipe with bonded coating system will be available in April 2022. Other Owner purchased items are expected to be available by the end of July 2022. Refer to the list of Owner purchased materials in the Project Drawings. The date for Substantial Completion is October 31, 2022. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License issued at least ten (10) days prior to Bid opening, and a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety, conditioned that if the Principal's Bid is accepted and the Contract awarded to Principal, the Principal, within ten (10) days after notice of award, shall execute a Contract in accordance with the terms of the Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of Southwest Water Authority. Authority reserves the right to award the Contract, if awarded, based on the lowest responsive Bid(s) that is in the best interest and most advantageous to the Owner, to reject any and all Bids, to consider other factors in selecting the Bid which is in the best interest of the Owner, and to waive any and all irregularities in any Bid. The Owner reserves the right to hold all Bids for a period of fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of the Bid opening to complete financial arrangements.
