Work to covered by Base Bid shall include the removal of all of the existing rooftop units at the junior high school, disconnecting and removing the boiler, demolishing existing boiler concrete pads, disconnecting and abandoning in place existing unit ventilators as shown in the Construction Documents. New work includes the installation new gas fired heating/DX cooling rooftop units, install new gas piping, flashing new curb extensions into existing EPDM roof, new infill at existing louver wall openings. Corresponding Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems will also be included. Work covered by the Alternate Bid #1 shall include the removal and replacement of the existing rooftop unit over the gymnasium/cafeteria of the elementary school, including flashing into the existing EPDM roof, as shown in the Construction Documents. Corresponding Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems will also be included. Work covered by the Alternate Bid #2 shall include the removal and replacement of two existing classroom heat pump unit ventilators with new gas fire heating/DX cooling rooftop units, installing new gas piping and new roof curbs, flashing new curbs into existing EPDM roof at the elementary school, including flashing into the existing roof, as shown in the Construction Documents. Corresponding Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems will also be included. Work covered by Unit Price shall include the removal and replacement of an existing rooftop unit over a classroom of the elementary school, including flashing into the existing EPDM roof, as shown in the Construction Documents. Corresponding Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems will also be included.
