Renovation of a mixed-use development in Providence, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
Providence Public School District is soliciting quotations from qualified bidders for the removal of a safe on the second floor of the administrative offices located at 797 Westminster Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02903. The contractor shall take all precautions to protect all finish surfaces and shall repair any damages incurred during the removal of the safe. This includes carpeting, finish floors, walls and trim and elevator from the current location of the safe to exiting the building. Prior to the removal of the safe and part of the bid package, the contractor shall provide an outline for plan for the safe removal including the pathway of removing the safe and parts. The Contractor agrees to hold District and the City of Providence harmless from any and all damages incurred by District or the City by reason of the Contractor s negligence or breach of contract, including without limitation, damages of every kind and nature, out-of-pocket costs, and legal expenses PPSD reserves the right to consider bids missing any of the above documents unresponsive. No electronic bids will be accepted for any reason. PPSD will consider bids from vendors that did not attend one of the mandatory pre-bid conferences unresponsive.
