Site work for a civil project in Pittsfield Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Furnishing of all labor, material and equipment for the QUARRY ROAD LATERAL DITCH No. 1 project in Pittsfield Township in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the office of Ken Carney, Lorain County Engineer. Interested parties are welcome to attend the public bid opening immediately thereafter. The scope of work includes: excavation, grading, tree removal, erosion control, new culvert, and site restoration. The Engineer's estimate of cost is $144,250. The County intends and requires the work to be completed within sixty days from Notice to Proceed. All materials and equipment shall meet the specifications of the Ohio Department of Transportation, and all work shall be performed to the satisfaction of the Lorain County Engineer. All contractors involved with this project shall, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of this project. All contractors shall comply with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123. Bidders are hereby notified that this project will be funded by the Lorain County Storm Water Management District. All bidders shall comply with the prevailing wage rates for Public Improvements in Lorain County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, (614) 644-2239.
