Renovations to the existing building will include: Asbestos and PCB abatement; existing single-glazed metal window units and brick sills to be replaced with new thermal storefront window system (23 units) and brick sills; Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS); exterior insulation and brick work; new membrane roof, roof hatch, and roof drain connection to existing catch basin; new vestibule at front entrance; exterior concrete ramp,stairs, and sidewalk atside entrance; kitchen enlargement; new flooring and interior finishes; restroom reconstruction; interior wall relocations; painting; new lighting and electric power for new HVAC equipment; and new ductless split systems (heat pumps).
