Renovation of a municipal facility in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Contract documents are the same as March l, 2022 contract documents except that time for completion of the work has been changed to reflect longer lead titmes for components and materials delivery All work necessary and incidental thereto, in accordance with the Contract Documents, for the Roof Replacement project at 1403 Teresa Drive, Fort Lee, New Jersey. The Authority reselves the unqualified right to waive any informalities in bids and to reject any and ail bids if it is in the best interest of the Authority to do so. Bids must be accompanied by a guarantee in the amount of 5% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. Bids must be accompanied by consent of surety regardless of whether a check or Bid Bond is submitted. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond. All Bonds and consents of Surety must be written by Surety Companies listed in the most recent Circular No, 570 United States Department of the Treasury, and licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders Inust be fully licensed, certified, and insured to perform all ofthe work required under the Contract Documents, and must be authorized to do business in the State ofNew Jersey. Any Bidder that is a corporation not chartered under the laws ofthe State ofNew Jersey must submit an affidavit certifying that said corporation is authorized to do business in the State ofNew Jersey. Bidders must be registered with the Department of Labor and are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1999, c.238, The Public Works Contractor Registration Act, which becatne effective on April 1 1, 2000. Bidders, their subcontractors and suppliers, must comply with the New Jersey Business Registration requirements. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1975, c. 127 and the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. which pertain to Non-Discrimination and Affirmative Actionsand with the requirements of Public Law 1977, c. 33, which requires a Statement of Corporate Ownership. Due to Covid19 considerations, Contract Documents or CD will not be available for in-person examination or pick-up at Authority offices and see Special Instructions to Bidders in the Contract Documents regarding bid delivery and bid opening. Written replies to any such questions will be provided to all potential offerors. No oral responses regarding technical questions or interpretations of the specifications will be provided.
