Sealed bids will be received for the following: services and/or materials, which are to be supplied during the contract period beginning May 2, 2022 and ending May 1, 2023. However, the Township reserves the right to extend the contract to two (2) years. BID NO. 15 STORM SEWER INLETS AND MANHOLES Constructing and/or reconstructing Storm Sewer Inlets, Type B and E, and Standard Storm Manholes and installing 1 5" diameter reinforced concrete pipe (R.C.P.) complete and in place, if and where required. Each bid must be made on standard proposal fonns, furnished by the Township of Hanover, in the manner designated thereon, and must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder the bid number and title and shall be addressed to: TOWNSHIP CLERK TOWNSHIP OF HANOVER 1000 ROUTE 10 P.O. BOX 250 WHIPPANY, NEW JERSEY 07981-0250 The successful bidder or bidders will be required to execute the contract within ten (10) days after the awarding of the contract. Bidders and the lowest responsible bidder awarded a contract for the services described in this notice are required to comply with the following State Statutes: 1. Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. 2. Prevailing wage Rates, Chapter 150, L. 1963 (NJSA 34:11-56 et.seq.) 3. Mandatory Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Language pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. 4. "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act" (P.L. 1999, c.238). 5. "State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate" P.L. 2004 c. 57, issued by the State of New Jersey, Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. 6. The New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission "Pay-to-Play" Disclosure Legislation (N.J.A.C. 19:25-26). The Township reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days prior to making award.
