The work of this single bid project includes replacing 26,000 SF of the existing roof system of the University Union and Technology Hub buildings with a new roofing system. In addition, the insulation thickness will be increased above the base energy code to comply with the NYS Stretch Energy code. Scope includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of the existing EPDM roofing system with a new single ply 60 mil EPDM, repair of masonry for new through-wall flashing, infill of abandoned masonry openings, removal and replacement of roof access door, modification of roof ladders and disconnecting/reconnecting various rooftop mechanical equipment to raise curbs and/or modify equipment supports. Abatement of hazardous materials that will be disturbed by the scope of work is also included. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
