The awarded Contractor agrees to provide the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform preventative maintenance services, technical support services, existing system disconnection and dismounting and/or reinstallation and setup services, replacement system installation and setup services, and installation of new equipment for Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems for various DMV office locations in Area 2. See Exhibit A, Scope of Work, for a complete description of services. See Exhibit H, DMV Office Location List, for listing of all offices. The anticipated term of this Agreement is June 1, 2022 or upon contract approval, whichever occurs later, through May 31, 2025. The bidder shall possess a valid C-7 or C-10 contractor license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board (CSLB). A bidder's bond is required if the total bid amount exceeds $388,000.00. Bidder shall submit one of the following forms of bidder security (equal to 10% of the total bid amount) at the time of bid submittal if total bid amount exceeds $388,000.00 Per Public Contract Code Section 7103, the awarded contractor shall provide a payment bond equal to one-hundred-percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract if the awarded contractors total bid amount exceeds $25,000.00. The current contract is $194,249.69 for a 3-year term.
