Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Kalama, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Work includes: All labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, training, and supervision for the installation of all components of the Tourism Facility project as shown in the plans and specifica-tions, generally including: 1. Construct new building of approximately 32,757 gross square feet. 2. Perform ground improvement work consisting of ston.e columns to be placed under the building ibatprint. 3. Install approximate 140 his-toric totem pole located adjacent project site onto suspended over-head support platform located in the proposed building. 4. Prepare required submittals and attend required meetings with the Ow :tier and regulatory agencies as required by permits for the project. 5. Mobilize to the site. 6. Implement temporary site controls including traffic controls, and temporary erosion and sedi-ment controls (TESC). 7. Demolish, clear and grub site, and perform site grading as required for new site civil, land-scaping and utilities work. 8. Furnish. and install new con-crete and asphalt pavement sur-faces. 9. Furnish and install new watermain 'hot tap', sewer, bur-ied utilities, fire hydrant, valves, meters, etc. 10. Furnish and install new landscaping elements and irriga-tion system. 11. Furnish and install new lighting and electrical service. 12. Furnish and install new potable water and fire standpipe system. 13. Demobilize equipment, labor, temporary facilities and unused materials from the site. 14. Other work required to complete the primary tasks iden-tified above and described in the Contract Documents. All contractors MUST comply with th.e prevailing wage and. anti-discrimination laws of the State of Washington, and pay all associat-ed fees, The Port of Kalama will comply with the statutory retain-age requirements for public works contracts.
