Site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Georgetown Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
The work for this specification includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, services, insurance and equipment necessary to carry out the setup, asbestos abatement and disposal of materials impacted by planned renovations. Work shall include the removal of all associated dust, dirt and debris within each regulated area of asbestos abatement per these specifications. The Scope of Work is further detailed in the descriptions below and under Project/Work Identification - Section 02080.105 within this specification. Owner and PSC are not responsible for the accuracy of the quantities and/or their locations given. The Contractor shall be fully responsible for all measurements, and any items found within the abatement areas but not identified in this document, shall become the contractor's responsibility as far as asbestos materials cleaning, removal, decontamination, storage, transportation, and disposal. The Contractor is responsible for the cleaning, removal, decontamination, storage, transportation and disposal of all "true unknowns" within each "work area" and/or "containment", at no extra cost to the Owner or PSC. Furnish all equipment, labor, and services necessary for, or incidental to, the execution and completion of this project in accordance with Divisions 2 of this Specification and the guidelines and regulations that are outlined by the EPA, OSHA, MIOSHA, MDLEO and MDEGLE.
