Renovation of a water / sewer project in Chester, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of April 14, 2022, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. Firm to add a granulated active carbon layer (GAC) to one or two of the water plants three slow sand filtration beds in accordance with a Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection grant. The Water Commission and Selectmen will be the awarding and contracting authority and reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is deemed in the best interests of the Town to do so. Contract Award – The responsive proposals will be reviewed as soon as possible after the due date, with the intent being to award the contract by 15 April 2022 at the latest.
