The location of the services to be performed for this contract is the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) between Mile Post 36.3 and Mile Post 40.0 in Cook County, Illinois. The work under this contract which includes installation of the intelligent transportation system (ITS) equipment at the intermediate power distribution and communication (IPDC) facility buildings, ITS equipment cabinets, furnish and installation of active traffic management (ATM) structures and dynamic signs, closed circuit television cameras (CCTV), vehicle detection systems (VDS), monopole CCTV assembly, ramp detection, ITS galvanized steel poles, all communication and power equipment and wiring to operate the ITS equipment, removal/relocation of existing ITS equipment, new fiber optic communication cable and network switches for the Tollway's ITS and IT system, connection to the existing IT system via the plazas, and maintenance of traffic. The contract end date is two (2) years from the completion date. The work to be done under this contract shall be started on or about July 20, 2022. All work under this contract shall be completed by December 29, 2023. Based on the completion date stated in the contract at the time of award the End Date is December 29, 2025. This contract maybe renewed for two (2) additional one (1) year terms or one (1) additional two (2) year term, the length of any renewal is to be determined and agreed upon by the Parties.
