Renovation of a water / sewer project in Vail, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of April 14, 2022. They received one bid, they have since rejected the bid and are not moving forward with the contract at this time.** The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid. The work to be performed generally includes: Building a server room that will include HVAC and Fire Suppression systems, Installation of new conduit and junction boxes to support cable routing/re-routing between the new server room and PLC-1, PLC-6, and the existing control room, Build of new control network infrastructure employing a redundant start network topology, Replacement of PLC-1 (Influent / Pre-Treatment) and PLC-6 (Distribution) with a Plant Master Primary and Secondary ControlLogix PLC architecture to support the plant wide control system. Redundant plant master processors are to be physically separated; replacement of existing panels to accommodate upgrades can be considered by the design. Non-Vendor PLCs targeted for consolidation are to have existing field I/O routed to one of the new master PLC locations (PLC-1 or PLC-6) using either ethernet connection or hardwired extension via field mounted Remote Input/Output Panels. PLCs targeted for consolidation include the following: PLC 0 Influent Pump Station PLC-1 and 1A (Influent/Pre-Treat) PLC-6 and 6A (Distribution and Auto Dialer Support) PLC-7 (Ozone Master) PLC-10 (Polymer) PLC-11 and 11A (Filter Backwash and Auto Dialer Support) PLC-12 (Fluoride) PLC 260 (Orthophosphate) PLCs 2 through 5 Filter Consoles Replacement of existing panelboards in MCC-1 as described in specifications Associated electrical and controls for WORK defined in the specifications Any ancillary WORK not specifically identified that is conjunction with WORK as listed Bids shall be submitted on a lump sum basis. FTP site login information will be sent via e-mail to the requester once adequate information has been provided. Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a cashier s check, or a Bid Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment and Warranty Bond guaranteeing faithful performance. No Bids may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date Bids are opened.
