The Martin County Fiscal Court will be accepting bids to clean up an illegal dump site along Trace Ridge Road (CR-1305) near Tomahawk, Kentucky. The site is located at 37.83325 latitude, -82.65083 longitude and has been assigned Agency Interest Number 73273 by the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection Responsibilities for this project include the following: Removing all debris from the illegal dump site and properly disposing of it. If additional access off of the county road is required, contractors will be responsible for easements or written permission needed off of county right of way. Contractors will also be required to complete Form DEP 6088 (Illegal Open Dump Cleanup Final Expense Worksheet), indicating equipment costs with hours recorded and hourly rates, disposal amount in tons and cost for disposal per ton, contract labor costs in hours work and hourly wage rates, and any miscellaneous supply costs upon completion of the project. All work will be subject to the direction, inspection, and approval of the Martin County Fiscal Court and their duly appointed representative. Payment for items of work performed shall be based upon completion in accordance with any written Agreement between the parties less any work or materials supplied by the Martin County Fiscal Court. The Court reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities and make awards in a manner deemed to be in the best interest of Martin County.
