LAC DU FLAMBEAU BAND OF LAKE SUPERIOR CHIPPEWA INDIANS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR COMPREHENSIVE HVAC UPGRADE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians will receive sealed proposals from qualified independent contractors for the provision of high quality HVAC upgrade services to the Peter Christensen Dental Clinic, a Native Americanoperated dental facility that provides general and specialized dental care, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, dental hygiene, implant, orthodontic and endodontic services, to the general public within Lac du Flambeau and the surrounding communities. The successful bidder must perform the full range of services related to provision and installation of a new auxiliary cooling system, repair of existing HVAC system components, necessary upgrades and system testing, and correction of the exhaust rates and recirculated-air change rate per hour (RA) in the facility s hygiene operatories to comply with current applicable Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Dental Office Ventilation Code provisions, in accordance with the Scope of Work set forth in the project RFP. All labor, components, materials and equipment are to be provided by the successful bidder. The Peter Christensen Dental Clinic (PCDC) is a Tribal entity of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians and is located at 128 Old Abe Road, Lac du Flambeau,Wisconsin. All work must be performed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, codes and standards prevailing in the industry. A site visit is recommended. Proposals must comply with the requirements set forth in the RFP and be submitted, with copies, in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside. The Tribe will not assume responsibility for proposals mailed in through public or private mailing services. The Tribe reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive technical defects and make the award to the bidder most competent to serve the Tribe's requirements. Deadline for submission of sealed proposals is 4:00 P.M., Local Time, Monday, March 14, 2022. Bids will be opened thereafter. Bidders may be asked to attend an interview prior to bid award. The successful bidder will enter into a contract with the Tribe, and will be expected to begin contract performance as soon as possible.
