Site work for a water / sewer project in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Screw Pumps will be rehabilitated and replaced. The pumps are to be removed and replaced before the next in the following order: number 2,4, and then 1. Work will require replacing lift screws, upper bearing assembly, and lower bearing assembly with a new unit. The project will also involve the involve rehabilitating concrete in the pump channels, with chip or saw as needed, and using existing gear reducers and electric motors. Reassemble and confirm working order before starting next pump. All Bid Proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked as to the Bidder and the contents therein. All prospective bidders must register their bid document with the City Clerk in order to receive Addendums if they are issued. The CITY reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid and make the award in the best interest of the City.
