Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
In general, the project includes: Renovation of approximately 2,900 ft2 on 1st floor of B27 for new CNA classrooms. Work to include: demolition, reconfiguring sprinkler, mechanical, &electrical systems (including new HVAC & data) and new floor, wall & ceiling finishes, as well as ramp, restroom and water fountain updates for ADA compliance Please note that a Phase 1 HVAC project (IFB2022-07 B27 HVAC Infrastructure) is also currently being solicited in conjunction with this bid. Pre-bid for this project is also March 8, 2022 starting @ 10:30 am, also in Building 27. Masks must be worn and social distancing will be practiced. Minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Mass. G.L., Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D inclusive. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids if it be in the public interest to do so. The applicable minority workforce utilization percentage is 15.3 %. The applicable women workforce utilization percentage is 6.9 %.
