Any questions or clarification to the bid specifications or technical specifications must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Agent at 200 Howell Ave., Riverhead, NY 11901 or by email to: baldinucci@townofriverheadny.gov prior to the bid opening, unless otherwise stated. Such questions must be in the possession of the Purchasing Agent at least 72 hours prior to the bid opening, unless otherwise stated. Verb al questions will not be entertained. No bidder may withdraw a bid within forty-five (45) days after the actualdate of the bid opening. Any bidder who does not honor their bid within the forty-five (45) days may be barred from bidding in any jurisdiction in New York State. The term of the contract between the successful bidder and the Town shall be for one (1) year. At the end of the contract period, the contract may be extended (not to exceed 1 one (1) year extension) upon the same terms and c onditions at the sole discretion of the Town of Riverhead and with the consent of the bidder/contractor. The Town also reserves the right to cancel this contract at any time without notice.
