Site work and renovation of a civil project in Marshall, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: Refurbishing of seven pump stations to include repair of the dry pit can walls and floors with repairs to the steel and new paint, replacement of the pumps, valves, and piping as indicated, wet well cleaning and repairs and other minor upgrades. Updates to aeration lagoons will include removal and replacement of the existing aeration system. Replacement of the headworks will include removal and replacement of the existing headbox. The influent meter pit includes the installation of a magnetic flow meter in a precast meter pit on the plant site. Outfall repairs include clearing and re-grading the outfall area. A replacement radio telemetry system is slated to be installed. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Duck Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant and Pump Station Improvements The Project has an expected duration of 255 days. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, and to waive informalities on proposals. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 90 days. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
