General Bidders shall be DCAMM Certified in HVAC. Direct all questions in writing to walter.callahan@lawrence.k12.ma.us no later than 3/10/22 @ 4:00 P.M. Work under this contract requires a contractor to provide labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for the HVAC upgrades and air conditioning installation including associated mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. 1. HVAC - General Bidder: Removal of unit ventilators and air handling units; provide new unit ventilators, air handling units, heat recovery unit, air cooled condensing unit, refrigerant piping systems, hot water piping systems, ductwork, insulation, automatic temperature controls and appurtenance. 2. Electrical - File Sub-Bidder: Disconnect existing HVAC equipment to be removed, and provided new power for new mechanical equipment. 3. Structural: New structural supports for equipment. Structural reinforcement of the roof at locations under the new rooftop equipment and as shown. 4. Roofing: Patching and flashing associated with rooftop units and supports, electrical service, and mechanical lines. Air Handling Unit Replacement: Remove existing air handling units (AHU-2, 3,4, 5, 7) ductwork/piping to extents indicated, automatic controls, electrical and appurtenances for the replacement with new air handlings with air conditioning including new air handling units (AHU-2, 3,4, 5, 7) , remote air cooled condensing units (ACCU-2, 3, 4, 5,7) interconnecting refrigerant piping, interconnecting refrigerant piping, condensate drain piping, variable air volume terminal units VAV), new ductwork to extent indication, piping/ductwork insulation, sound attenuators, new automatic temperature controls intergraded into existing building management system, electrical power and appurtenances for complete and operable systems.
