Renovation of a transportation facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Working plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The City of Atlanta s Department of Procurement ( DOP ) on behalf of Department of Aviation intends to issue a RFP to award one (1) firm for CPTC Fire Life Safety Enhancement Projects Construction Management at Risk Services. Project consists of Fire and Life Safety Upgrades including but not limited to the following: upgrades to the Lightning Protection System, upgrades to exit door hardware and light levels, upgrades to exit discharge locations and markings, upgrades to exit capacity and Boarding Bridge exit arrangements (Work includes, but is not limited to the following: stair demolition and replacement; selective demolition and patching of existing facades; ceiling demolition and patching; new stairs; new doors and frames; new door hardware; new lighting; new exit signs; new paint; and, new interior finishes. Demolition and patching of materials including but not limited to: metal panels; acoustical ceiling panels; curtain wall systems; concrete panels, steel/concrete stairs; steel structure; concrete structure; CMU; gypsum board; floor bases; and, carpet).
