The City of Saginaw is soliciting sealed bid proposals for Fire Department Training Burn Building per specifications found in the bid document. 1. Bid shall include Layout, Supervision, All necessary permits, Site Work, Footing Installation, and Site Cleanup. 2. Site Work a. Strip and haul away dirt, 50 by 26 , minimum 6 depth b. Auger 4 footing holes, 24 by 48 c. Auger 2 footing holes, 36 by 48 d. Place long-lasting fabric in the excavated area e. Minimum of 6 Stone Crete or 21A Crushed Aggregate atop fabric f. Restore site as needed g. Hydroseed disturbed areas, as needed 3. Footings a. Pour 3500PSI concrete b. (2) Foundations 36 by 48 deep c. (4) Foundations 24 by 48 deep d. For each footing, contractor shall supply (3) #3 bars at 18 horizontal spacing and (4) #3 bars even spaced vertically. #3 bars shall be tied together for strength. e. Furnish and install bearing plates f. (2) Bearing plates, minimum 12 by 24 by Type #5160, with (4) 12 by studs per plate g. (4) Bearing plates, minimum 12 by 12 by Type #2580 with (2) 12 by studs per plate h. Bearing plates shall be installed at the same elevation i. 1 Grout under bearing plates 4. Job site Cleanup 5.
