The City of Coconut Creek, Florida is seeking bids from qualified, experienced and licensed Contractors to mill and repave approximately 7.3 centerline miles (not lane miles) of City streets, new sidewalk construction, sidewalk and roadway repairs, installing ADA accessible sidewalk, ramps, swale reconstruction, as well as the introduction of landscaping and beautification features within the right-of-way. The scope is indicated on the plans and is specified in applicable parts of this contract document. The work shall be performed in full accordance with the plans, specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this IFB. Question Cutoff Date 3/15/2022 05:00:00 PM (ET) This solicitation includes the Broward County certified County Business Enterprise (CBE) goal of 30%. Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and maintenance of traffic, transportation and supervision for the milling and resurfacing of all paved roads within the City of Coconut Creek, Comprehensive Street Improvements Phase II Project. The scope of work entails a site investigation for the verification of all measurements and site conditions prior to the commencement of the work and the ordering of any materials. All work shall be performed in a professional workmanship like manner. All adjacent impacted areas shall be repaired to the same quality standards of the existing work and shall match the adjacent areas. All debris shall be dispose of appropriately. All work must be in accordance with applicable federal, state and local codes and regulations. The contractor shall be responsible for all applicable permits. A pre-bid visit by the bidder is required to get an accurate understanding of the work. All work shall be performed by a licensed full time professional with two or more years of experience in the respective trade. Provide approximately 128,000 SY of cold milling for ALL paved surfaces to a depth of 1" of the existing asphalt surface and replace/resurface with 1" of compacted FDOT SP-9.5 Superpave asphaltic concrete surface course. Sweep and clean the milled asphalt pavement of all dirt and debris prior to placement of the tack coat and bituminous overlay. Furnish and install Bituminous Tack Coat throughout the milled surface area
