Renovation of a mixed-use development in St Petersburg, Florida. Design plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and theater / auditorium.
Scope: renovation of existing park structures and bandshell to include: replacing the bandshell's deteriorated roof panels, repairing bathroom wall tile. Proposed upgrades include providing collapsible staging platforms and noise control features to accommodate larger events, upgrading and enlarging the existing back-of-house space, and improving handicap accessibility across the property. As of June 2023, the project is in conceptual design. The structure is under review and an analysis is being conducted. Contractor bidding is tentatively expected to commence in the summer of 2024.
