Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Houghton, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Approximately 2,400 feet of water main replacement, customer water service line replacements, valves, fire hydrants, associated water distribution system appurtenances, approximately 1,600 feet of sanitary sewer main replacement, sanitary sewer manholes, customer sanitary lateral line replacements, associated sanitary collection system appurtenances, pertinent storm sewer system components, roadway reconstruction, driveway restoration, sidewalk restoration and landscaping, as detailed in the Contract Documents. The owner will enter into a Contract to construct the MEDC/WRI - Phase 4 Water and Sewer System Improvements for the City of Houghton, as described on the accompanying Project Plans and Specifications and briefly summarized as follows: 1. Water System Improvements: a) Replacement of existing water mains, service lines, valves and hydrants for the distribution system on Baraga Avenue, Prospect Street and Houghton Avenue (adjacent to Prospect Street) within the City of Houghton. 2. Sewer System Improvements: a) Replacement of existing sewer mains, service lines and manholes for the existing gravity collection system on Baraga Avenue and Prospect Street within the City of Houghton.
