Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Modesto, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a warehouse / distribution facility; for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility; and warehouse / distribution facility.
The Work consists of all activities necessary for the Agricultural Commissioner's Warehouse Improvement Project. The Work includes, but is not limited to: tenant improvements of approximately 1,000 square feet of warehouse space, interior trades such as demolition, asphalt, concrete, striping, signage, insulation, framing, wood finishes, flooring, paint, acoustical ceiling systems, plumbing, heating and ventilation, and electrical. Pre-Bid site visits after the initial site visit are scheduled at Owner's sole discretion, depending on staff availability. Work shall be completed within the following time periods: Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work within 180 calendar days from the Commencement Date. Contractor shall achieve Final Completion of the entire Work within 25 calendar days from the Substantial Completing Date. Owner specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. Owner may reject any and all Bids and waive any minor irregularities in the Bids. The Agricultural Center Warehouse will be renovated by adding three new bays, automating doors, removing the metrology laboratory, upgrading the electrical system, data and telecom system, utilities, and making general site upgrades to meet current Code requirements.
