Renovation of an educational facility in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of March 31, 2022, This project has not yet been awarded. There will be no Pre-Bid Conference however plan holders can arrange site visits by contacting the Board of Education or Gus Arnone of ENV. All requests for clarification and/or interpretation by Bidders must be submitted in writing to Environetics Group Architects by March 7, 2022 at 4:00 PM. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, drawn to the order of the Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid but not in excess of $20,000. A 100% performance bond will be required of the successful bidder. (18A:18A-24). Bidders must be pre-qualified to bid on work specified by the New Jersey State Board of Education (Title 18A:18A-27). Bidders must also comply with the provisions of the Public Disclosure Law, N.J.P.L. 1977 c.33. Bidders are required to comply with requirements N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bids must be submitted by hand delivery or time and date receipted courier (no bids are to be sent via regular mail) to the Board of Education office at 231 Main Street, 3rd floor. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or to accept the bid that, in its judgment will be in the best interest of the School District. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defects or informalities in any bid, should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the District to do so. The Board will not assume responsibility for bids not delivered in person to the Board of Education at the time called for bid opening. BUSINESS REGISTRATION NJ Public Law 2004, c. 57, requires all businesses to provide proof of registration with the NJ Department of Treasury to conduct business with any school districts. The Work consists of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of designated areas of windows. Replacement Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, demolition and disposal, windows, blocking, trim, flashing, partial roofing work and window curb, etc. The contractor shall engage a roofing contractor that's approved to work on the existing Garland Roofing as per the existing warranty requirements.
