Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Danbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes substantial work on Orchard Street and its West Street and George Street Intersections and all quantities are approximate. The project comprises generally all the labor, tools, materials, equipment and all work necessary to remove and replace the 6-inch water main with 8-inch main and reconnect water services, temporary water service, remove and replace sanitary sewer, manholes, and reconnect sewer services, remove and replace a section of existing storm drainage, install new storm drainage and catch basins, connect new storm drainage to existing storm drainage and restore pavement curb to curb and into intersections, driveway aprons, sidewalks and curbing; provide compaction testing of subbase; provide sedimentation and dust controls; to provide Maintenance and Protection of Traffic and construction signage; to provide temporary pedestrian ramps for sidewalks and driveway aprons for temporary water piping; provide pavement markings and all other miscellaneous work related to the project, in order to provide a completed project acceptable to the City and in conformance with the plans and specifications. All work required to complete the project is to be included in the unit price bids included in the Proposal. The Contractor is required to construct the improvements in the order and in conformance with the specifications. Contractor is required to review all technical specifications in the bid set and adhere to all requirements outlined in the General Provisions and Technical Specifications sections of this bid package.The City of Danbury reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the bidder deemed to be for its best interest.
