Alum Rock Union School District ("District") is requesting qualified persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, or professional organizations to provide comprehensive and professional construction management services to the District for renovation projects ("Project," "Projects" or "Project(s)") relating to the District's facilities development of its public schools under the Measures "J" and "I" Bonds Program ("Program"), including but not limited to: Russo/McEntee Academy; Sheppard Middle School; McCollam Elementary School; George Middle School; Adelante I TK-8 School; Ocala Middle School; Cassell Elementary School; Renaissance Academy at Fischer Middle School; Adelante II TK-8 School; Aptitud TK-8 School; Renaissance Academy at Mathson Middle School and San Antonio Elementary School. The comprehensive construction management services will include, but not be limited to: Project construction oversight, reporting, and support; pre-construction support including cost estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews; pre-construction support; strategic construction sequencing and staging; optimization of staging and/or work consolidation; and may include other construction management for Projects and Program planning and support. Answers will be emailed and posted on the District website by 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2022. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in any proposal reviewed. The District may reject any proposal that does not conform to the instructions herewith. Additionally, the District reserves the right to negotiate all final terms and conditions of any preliminary agreement entered into with the construction management firm. The District makes no representations that any contract will be awarded to any respondent. Contact with any individual(s) in the District, other than the individual(s) specifically named herein, is prohibited, and may result in rejection of the proposal.
