Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works projects. Bidders shall also be fully compliant with the project requirements and provisions for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) Grant, BEP Utilization Goal, and Illinois Works Apprenticeship Initiative. Prequalification of Bidders in accordance with the applicable parts of IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Recurring Special Provision "Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" (Check Sheet LRS 6) will be required of all bidders on this proposal. The Board of Trustees of the Village of Hanover Park reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any technicalities, discrepancies, or information in the bids. The Village of Hanover Park does not discriminate in admission, access to, treatment, or employment in its programs and activities. The work for which proposals are requested will generally consist of, but shall not be limited to: baseball fields, asphalt parking and pathways, sidewalks, detention basin; and other associated improvements.
